Bio
Cody Clark was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, and graduated from Cimarron-Memorial High School. He played college baseball at the College of Southern Nevada and the University of Hawaii before finishing his career at Dixie State University (now known as Utah Tech University).
Following his college career, Cody signed a minor league contract with the Arizona Diamondbacks organization in 2014. In 2015, he was part of the Missoula Osprey team that won the Pioneer League championship. After his time with the Diamondbacks organization, Cody played three years of independent baseball with the Joliet Slammers of the Frontier League and the Grand Junction Rockies of the Pioneer League. In 2018, he won the Frontier League championship with Joliet and was named Championship Series MVP. Cody was primarily used as a pitcher during his independent baseball career, but he also appeared in 79 games as a position player, including 62 games as a catcher.
Cody began his coaching career as the catching coordinator at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, helping lead the program to its ninth state championship in 2023. He made his professional coaching debut later that year with the Quebec Capitales of the Frontier League as the team’s bench coach and helped lead the club to a league championship in his first season.
