Voyagers Secure Series Win Vs Paddleheads
Voyagers Win 4 Straight
The Voyagers picked up ther series win against Missoula last night as they won 7-5. This puts the Voyagers at 9-2 on the season and 6-2 against the Paddleheads for the season.
The scoring started in the top of the 2nd thanks to three Paddlehead errors that scored 3 runs for the Voyagers. They kept that momentum going in the 4th and 5th scoring a pair of runs in both. A Collin Runge 4th inning single to center scored Adam Oviedo and Tavis Brunson making the score 5-2. In the 5th Adam Oviedo doubled off the right field fence scoring Tavis Brunson and Nick Emanuel. The seven runs proved to be all that Great Falls needed to capture the win against Missoula.
Great Falls pitching showed up again in the Game 5 win against Missoula. CJ Grant Debose picked up the win while pitching 5 innings giving up 6 hits and 4 earned runs, while striking out 2. Anthony Becerra came in as relief in the 6th inning and was able to pitch out of two bases loaded jams in the 6th and 7th innnings to keep the score 7-4. Becerra pitched 3.1 innings giving up 3 hits, one earned run, and striking out 3. Montana Quigley came in to close the game out and picked up his 3rd save of the season.
