Voyagers Infielder Aidan Redahan Signed by Rockies
After emerging as one of the Pioneer League's top hitters, Voyagers infielder Aidan Redahan signed with the Colorado Rockies organization on Monday.
Redahan was the best hitter in a very strong Voyagers lineup, leading the club in batting average, doubles and on-base plus slugging percentage while tying for the team lead in home runs. His .459 batting average was second best in the Pioneer League.
Redahan joined the Voyagers following a standout career at Central Connecticut State, where he led all NCAA hitters in batting average in 2025. After a slow start to his professional career, hitting .231 through his first 16 games, he finished the season on a strong note by recording hits in nine of his final 11 contests.
The hot streak continued into 2026, as he hit safely in each of his first 14 games. He recorded multiple hits in 14 of the 24 games he appeared in, including five four-hit performances and a career-high five-hit game in an 11-6 win over the Glacier Range Riders on May 30.
He wasn't just collecting hits; he was doing damage. Redahan led the team with 19 extra-base hits and a .730 slugging percentage while tying for the team lead with five home runs. He homered in two of his final three games as a Voyager, including a titanic 430-foot shot at Dehler Park in Billings.
“I am thankful for every opportunity, challenge, and success that came with being a part of this organization. Most importantly, I am grateful for the opportunity to have been a Voyager and for everything that experience has taught me,” Redahan said. “I will always carry the lessons, friendships and memories from my time with the Voyagers for the rest of my life.”
While the Voyagers will miss Redahan's production at the top of the lineup, his teammates and coaches are excited to see him get an opportunity in affiliated baseball.
“I’m beyond happy for Aidan. He is one of the best pure hitters I’ve had the opportunity to coach in my career,” Voyagers manager Sean Repay said. “He is an extremely hard worker and a phenomenal human being on and off the field. I can’t wait to watch him find success in a Rockies uniform."
Redahan is the first Voyager to sign an affiliated contract since catcher Dayne Leonard was acquired by the Cincinnati Reds organization last June. He becomes the ninth Voyager to sign with an MLB organization since Great Falls transitioned to independent baseball in 2021.
