The Voyagers go back to Glacier for the second time this season for a 3-game series against the Range Riders starting tonight at 7:05 at Glacier Bank Park.

The team just wrapped up a 2-1 series loss to the Missoula Paddleheads, and shortly after the series, the team made a few cuts and acquisitions.

The Voyagers released pitchers Nicole Felber and Shandon Herrera, as well as outfielder Marcos Castillo. The team signed outfielder Kyle Schroedle and pitcher Carter Gannaway. Pitcher Steven Washilewski was also activated to fill the final roster spot.

Kyle Schroedle is also making his pro debut this season with the Voyagers. The outfielder is coming over from two years at Division 1 Eastern Michigan and 4 years at Crown College prior to that. Carter is fresh off of some time with Tennessee Tech and Tennessee Wesleyan University, he also spent some time in the Coastal Plains League in 2022.

In his 2023 season at Tennessee Wesleyan University, the right-handed pitcher appeared in 18 games, starting one of them. Carter pitched 53.1 innings and posted a 2.87 era with 54 strikeouts.

The team has seen significant roster turnover to start the season. Already, 35 different players have suited up for a game. The season did not start how fans were hoping, and the coaching staff is eager to bring in new faces to help turn this thing around. The Voyagers visit the Range Riders for game one tonight. AJ Fritz is the anticipated starter for Great Falls. Fritz is making his second start as a pro for the Voyagers. His first appearance was also against Glacier back on the 11th. AJ went 4.2 innings, surrendering 4 earned runs on 7 hits. Tonights game starts at 7:05 MT.
