The Voyagers July 4th Series Preview!

The Great Falls Voyagers’ spirits are high going into their fourth and final meeting against the Glacier Range Riders for the 2024 regular season. It will be a six-game series, with the first three games being played at Voyagers stadium, including our yearly July 4th Fireworks Night Presented by Steel Inc.

The boys in red and green are entering this series with a 5-game win streak, and the Range Riders just came off winning back-to-back games in a 2-4 series loss to Missoula. It was crucial for the Range Riders to at least take a game or two off of Missoula to remain in the 2nd playoff spot for the first half comfortably. Both teams will be heading into this series with some momentum and confidence, but Glacier will be down one of their best players.

It was announced just a few days ago that the Chicago White Sox picked up Mason Dinesen, star player for the Range Riders for the past three seasons. This season, Dinesen has led the entire league in stolen bases with 27, and he also led his team in batting average and runs. Although they are all elated to see him moved up, Mason’s presence will be missed for the Range Riders. The Voyagers certainly won’t miss him nearly as much, as he was a big contributor in every meeting between the two teams. 

Game One, Tuesday, July 2nd is Feast Night in Voyagers Stadium! All corn dogs, nachos, and fries will be only 2$. Popcorn, candy, and small sodas will be 1$ Voyagers will look to win their 6th straight in game 1. Game 2 on Wednesday is 50 Cent Hot Dog Night Presented by Pioneer Meats! The final home game of the series will be our annual July 4th Fireworks Night Presented by Steel Inc! Be sure to grab tickets if you haven’t already, we will also be playing games, like Launch-A-Ball for prizes after the game!
